Hello, my name is Khadija Imara and I received my BA from UC Davis, in Linguistics. I am a Sales Specialist for a packaging company and a part time tutor. Previously, I worked at an after school program as an English instructor, with children from 6 to 12 years old, focusing on reading comprehension, grammar, syntax and pragmatics.

I chose WordPress to blog my artifacts, because I intend to start a speech blog and would like to build the skills to maintain a blog. I will add a blog post for each artifact, that describes the assignment goals, outcomes, and the skills I acquired after completing the artifact.

I also chose WordPress because of the simplicity of the blogging. The ability to add videosand screenshots easily, allows me to illustrate the process of the artifact, not just describe the finished result. At the conclusion of each blog post, I will outline the AECT standards associated with the artifact.
